We will exhibit International Technical Exhibition on Imaging Technology & Equipment 2011 to be opened on December 7 (Wed) in Yokohama.
|An LED strobe lighting device illuminates pressed components of hoop material running at high speed. Then, a still image captured by a double-speed camera is processed for measuring specified dimensions of each pressed component, and for its appearance check in 100% inspection.|
Inspection performance at max. 3,000 pieces per minute by using a double-speed camera
When a VGA camera (size 640×480) is used for a 20 mm viewing field (horizontal), measurement accuracy is ±5μm.
Moreover, if a high-resolution camera is used, measurement can be carried out with still higher accuracy. For example, when a XGA camera (size 1024×768) is used for a 20 mm viewing field (horizontal), measurement accuracy is ±3μm.
Simultaneous capturing with two cameras can be done by using a double-speed camera(s) and a high-resolution camera(s).
A measurement window position can be adjusted, while detecting an object posture being unstable in the screen.
Max. 21 locations can be specified arbitrarily for measuring dimensions.
While any other simple color processing method can hardly do it, but ALGOL's unique color image processing technology makes it possible to discriminate gold plating from silver plating & solder, and check flaws on a plated surfaced.
By using a VGA-size (640×480) double-speed camera (60 frames/sec), one cycle from image capturing to result output takes only about 40 [m-sec].
Characters can be inspected at high-speed (8 m-sec or less per one character) by applying a unique algorithm. Even turning characters can be recognized correctly.
Since alphanumeric characters (0 to 9, A to Z. a to z, and symbols) are registered for recognition, the system is compatible with any font.
