High-speed sensor for capturing not points but a plane
Using a compact camera for capturing an inspection object as a plane, the sensor can make area-judgments simultaneously on multiple spots.

A "thumb-sized" camera with a "palm-sized" main unit
By development of a camera for the sensor on our own, we have accomplished a downsized unit that can be used in a narrow space, and built in a small device.
The main unit is also in a compact size, and suitable for space-saving installation.
The most popular C-mount method is adopted.
Out of a variety of lense options, you can choose the most appropriate one for the inspection application.

One unit of “Asensor2” materializes eight judgments on ‘Area’, ‘Element count’, and ‘Distance’ at the same time.
Judgment results on eight inspection areas can be output by way of AND-OR operation.
The main unit of "Asensor2" has result output ports of four points, and operation conditions can be set for each port.
Output operation can be carried out even with no PLC.
Two trigger modes are available. External trigger mode: According to the trigger timing entered externally & Free-run trigger mode: According to the trigger timing automatically generated internally.
Even though a workpiece is displaced in screen, the inspecting position is automatically adjusted.

Suitable for inspecting workpieces moving at high-speed on a parts feeder, or replacement for a photoelectric sensor.

Suitable for an inspection application in which a wide view field is more important than the inspection speed, or a remarkable workpiece displacement is assumed.
Generally, in brochures of lens manufacturers, a viewing field is calculated and described for a camera with pixel size of 7.4μm square.
Meanwhile, a camera with pixel size of 6.0μm square is used in Asensor2/2V.
Therefore, note that if you select a lens from a brochure for a camera with pixel size of 7.4μm square, an actual viewing field is 80% (0.8 times) of the size described in the brochure.
